In most parts of Hawaii, especially Honolulu, there are many opportunities to gain employment in hospitality. Bartender, host/hostess and waiter/waitress positions can be found readily in the tourist areas throughout Hawaii due to the volatile nature of people coming and going from the islands.

Within the past few years, Care.com has ramped up its background checks so they now do an in-depth background check screening for federal and county-level crimes dating back 7 years. As the caregiver, you will also have to undergo a background check.
Of course, there are other ways to find babysitting positions besides Care.com, such as searching local Facebook groups or public bulletin boards. We have personally always used Care.com to reduce the risk of scams and for a wider variety of job opportunities.
